New Chapters at The Library Hotel in Thailand

The series of elegant minimalist white structures on the Chaweng Beach in Koh Samui already make The Library a “page-turner” in the area. And now two fresh chapters are going to make the property even more addictive: the new Drink Gallery restaurant and bar, and the Bookmark suite. Adding to the 26 suite/studio cabins, the Bookmark is the hotel’s largest and most luxurious accommodation. The Drink Gallery follows the property’s penchant for striking, unusual design with a heady mix of art, design, food and creative drinks.

Introducing Passport Project’s Passport Life Web-Series

Passport Life is a web-series about creative young people trying to make it against all odds and using international travel as a tool to learn valuable (life) lessons that will fuel their future success.

The Passport Project team introduce Bryan Blue in their new web series. Passport Project’s Founder, Kenji Summers exclaims, “We took a creative young man, who was stuck in his city with no money to travel, on his first of many journeys out of the country”. Blue is a young artist, entrepreneur and self-taught designer seeking more out of life than his present circumstances can offer. The Passport Life web-series follows Blue across the globe, capturing his journey as he leaves his home in Texas with a few dollars to his name and some big ideas in his mind, specifically the lifestyle brand he’s created, titled “Wage War”. For Blue, Wage War is more than a way to express himself through clothes, it reflects his unique perspective on everything from fashion to religion. In this series, you will see Blue and his brand undergo a transformation that could only happen through travel.

The Argentario Golf Resort & Spa: A Modern Take on Tuscany

The lobby of Argentario Resort

Visions of a Tuscan vacation often include time spent in a charming old stone farmhouse surrounded by grape vines and olive trees. The Argentario Golf Resort & Spa offers a sleeker, more modern way to visit this beautiful part of Italy.

The resort has a contemporary style that is quite unique in rustic Tuscany. The owner, Augusto Orsini, wanted to create something “new and fresh, that would show the region’s most progressive side.” The result is 73-room dragonfly-shaped structure that features a flaxen limestone façade. Guests check in through the stunning reception area, where a spiral staircase winds upwards into a glass dome. Guestrooms have an eclectic personality in keeping with the feel of the resort and were designed by Andrea Fogli.

Tel Aviv’s Chocolate Haven – Brown TLV

It’s hot, slightly humid, and there’s a salty breeze coming off the Mediterranean. A skyline of stone-colored buildings leads the eye to a seemingly endless stretch of beach, dotted with towels, bathing suits, and umbrellas. Off in the distance, the ancient port city of Jaffa glints in the afternoon sun. Music spills out of cafés, where tables of twos and threes crowd around espresso, cold beers, and plates of crisp cucumbers and tomatoes, green olives, and tart Labne cheese. Leafy vines frame the streets here, palm trees pop up out of nowhere, and together with the occasional piece of graffiti they make up the visual rhythm of the city. Once the sun sets, the rhythm of the beat grows louder, signaling the start of parties that last all night. This is Tel Aviv.

Lug less when you travel, let LugLess ship your bags.

What’s great about travel? Arriving. What’s bad about travel? Everything that happens before you arrive. And that includes dealing with your luggage. Not only is it annoying to haul bags, check them and hopefully claim them on the carousel — it’s expensive.

LugLess picks up your packed bags — and anything else you’re bringing like skis, golf clubs, whatever — at your home, office or hotel. They then ship them to  your destination through a major courier like FedEx, UPS, DHL or many others they work with. They get big discounts with these companies so you get big savings on shipping your bags. In fact, you can ship a bag anywhere in the U.S. for pricing as low as $39. Checking bags with airlines can cost up to $100+ these days.
