Heineken is inviting aspiring designers to design a concept nightclub for the brand that will be unveiled during Milan Design Week in April 2012. To enter, designers living in or near New York, Milan, Tokyo or Sao Paolo must go to a Facebook Page, and submit a design portfolio or video by August 14th.

Heineken will then select 80 designers to attend a design scouting night at one of the four cities listed, and on September 7, 20 finalists to work in groups, working with experts such as Heineken’s head of global design Mark van Iterson and visiting various nightclubs for inspiration. The final designs will be selected in October.

Who doesn’t love tequila?… and who doesn’t like trying new tequila?
Develop by tequila master Carlos Camarena and visionary French spirits producer, Jean Sebastian Robiquet, Excellia Tequila introduces a new production process that is a marriage of traditional French and Mexican spirit making techniques. Made from the Blue Agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico and is then aged in Sauternes Wine Casks & Grand Cru Cognac barrels. Like a fine Cognac, the aged spirits are then blended by a Master Blender to create perfectly balanced Blanco, Reposado and Anejo expressions.

The end result is an fine Tequila, rich with a flavor from the French wine casks and cognac barrels. Tequila experts have been playing with the idea of elevating the Tequila ageing process for some time, however Excellia is the very first product of its kind.

There are very few men that I’m jealous and Bronques of lastnightsparty.com is one of them and if you are familiar with his site, you would understand why… and for those who don’t have a clue, let me break it down for you. Bronques travels the world and attends some of the livest events/parties and somehow with the magic invested in him, he manages to get gorgeous women to photograph and miraculously they undress for him and flesh appears. But it’s more than just taking photos of these women that make Bronques such a good lad, its the fact that he embodies the NY nightlife scene and displays it the way it should be: REAL.

Recently, Bronques launched LastNightsParty TV which follows selected individuals and we witness “normal” behavior that goes on in their lives and how they all intertwine with one another but from a Downtown NYC point-of-view.

We thank you Bronques, Live Strong!

Malibu is releasing a limited-edition bottle in celebration of its partnership with Reef Check, a non-profit dedicated to monitoring, protecting and rehabilitating coral reefs. The brightly colored bottle reflects the energy of the partnership, the colors of the Caribbean and the vibrancy of beach and reef life.

Available nationwide, this limited-edition bottle will help raise awareness of Reef Check’s mission, and will kick off the first-ever Malibu Beach Internship. Malibu is offering 10 budding environmentalists a chance to get a PhD in SPF by monitoring coral reef health in Thailand, the Maldives or the Philippines. Passionate individuals of legal drinking age may apply by visiting www.malibu-rum.com/reefcheck.

“Our partnership with Malibu opens up many doors for Reef Check, as we engage amultitude of new participants in our efforts to survey the world’s most endangered reefs. These reefs are the canary in the coal mine for climate change, and the limited-edition bottleand beach internship program are the perfect convergence of our efforts to educate thepublic about the value of reef ecosystems,” says Dr. Gregor Hodgson, founder of ReefCheck.

Applications will be accepted from July 1, 2009, through August 31, 2009, and are available online at www.malibu-rum.com/reefcheck. The applicants who convey the most creativity, enthusiasm and character will be selected as finalists, and will be sent on a 10-day assignment to a Malibu-sponsored eco-adventure with Reef Check to an exotic location, such as Thailand, the Philippines or the Maldives.

Participants will chart their progress via blog posts and social networking sites about conducting Reef Check surveys, take part in training sessions and become certified Malibu Reef Check EcoDivers. Through various social networking applications, Malibu hopes that the Beach Interns will help to virally spread the word and enlist others to raise awareness of coral reef health.

Brooklyn continues to become the mecca of all things cool in New York; as the summer finally comes around and shares it bright smile so does Brooklyn Bowl. Introduced to the public last night, the renovation of a former iron foundry in Williamsburg holds it’s massive frame of 23,000 sq. ft., and showing that it cares for the earth by ONLY serving beer on tap (no bottles or cans). The rest of the interior boast a state of the art audio and video system, 35-ft wide stage for performances, and a food menu by Blue Ribbon.

Let us not forget about the bowling. 16 new lanes will be anchored by hi-def screens and lounge-worthy Chesterfield couches to relax in. While you’ve got your sights on your lane, keep your ears peeled – the venue is staged as much for music as it is for pins. Veteran producers from The Knitting Factory and The Wetlands have fine-tuned the acoustics to a perfect 300. More images after the jump

There’s no denying that there is a large group of older women that crave younger men from time to time (or all the time). It’s been proven in films such as The Graduate, American Pie and fantasies all over the globe. These older women, more popularly known as cougars come in very handy; they offer counseling, networking, financial help and more importantly, they offer stress-free sex…really good stress-free sex at that.

BlackBooks’s Ben Barna gives us the inside scoop on where to find these “kind” women around the New York city area, you better believe these locations are going in the iPhone ASAP.

Here’s a excerpt:

● Nikki Beach A cougar oasis, if you will. No small coincidence that the first cougar I tamed was also named Nikki Beach (she was an amateur porn star). This is where you go to get your tiki torched.
