Made using the same time-honored tradition that dates back more than a hundred and fifty years, Harris Tweed is made from 100 percent pure virgin wool. The fabric is dyed, spun, finished and woven by hand by the inhabitants of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra, all islands located in the Outer Hebrides. Every 50 meters of fabric is checked before being stamped by hand with the Harris Orb, which is found on every genuine Harris Tweed garment.
