Del Toro released the first collaboration of their “Del Toro Artists Series” with artist Alexander Mijares with an event hosted at Ufficio Del Toro during Miami’s Art Walk. Del Toro will collaborate with various Miami artists and release the limited edition collaborations with events during Art Walk this fall. Mijares, a Miami based artist, has combined his Spanish style with Del Toro’s classic Prince Albert silhouette to create a limited edition run of exclusive slippers for men and women. Inspired by life, Mijares’ creation features a “shaped skull” for the men’s slipper and his signature “flamenco ladies” in the shape of a “D” and “T” for the women’s slipper. The limited edition “Del Toro x Alexander Mijares” slippers will be available for $325 on www.deltoroshoes.com.
