Although this isn’t Albam first collection, however this is their first lookbook. The focus was always on getting the clothing right before attempting to style them into an ensemble. Their Fall/Winter ’12 brings about a collection showing new and interesting influences. Indian block print scarves are a personal highlight, with the pattern and texture bringing an element of play to a label known to some for its austerity. Knitwear is of especially high quality. From scarves printed in Nottingham, to coats made in East London or knitwear in Scotland, provenance is of importance to Albam and doesn’t it half show.
