Amidst a backdrop of high-style photography and neon art, the 2013 LS sedans made their world debut at the “Lexus Laws of Attraction” event last night in San Francisco, with the exhibit’s creative directors, Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan, in attendance. Lexus’ new design philosophy was the inspiration for the Lexus Laws of Attraction exhibit, which included exclusive photographs by world-renowned fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, and the entire LS lineup has been refined with a focus on dynamic design and style. The LS sedans also feature prominent advances in technology, comfort and safety, with new features such as the industry’s most advanced Pre-Collision Safety (A-PCS) system with Collision Avoidance Assist and the next-generation Remote Touch system.
The Achilles is an ever-present within the Common projects line-up as one of the brand’s signature styles. Purveyors of classic and refined shapes, Common Projects use only the finest materials to construct their particular brand of luxury footwear. The Common Projects Men’s Achilles Wool Sneaker for autumn/winter ’12, seen here in burgundy.
The wool upper really sets this shoe apart. The burgundy fabric is brought alive with flecks of white and red, all offset by a tonal leather trim. It is fully leather lined for comfort and durability, and sits on a hard-wearing vulcanized rubber sole unit.
As ever, Common Projects finish the sneaker with their proprietary gold stamp denoting the style, size and color of the shoe. Although please note, that due to the wool upper, this is less pronounced.

And there’s plenty of athletes from other Caribbean islands and other sports with big expectations this summer, too. Here’s a look at 10 we’ll be watching out for.

There’s really no album out right now in Hip Hop that requires and deserves your attention other than NaS’s Life Is Good. BBC Radio 1‘s Benji B asked Nasir to break down some of the track off the album, his relationship with Amy Winehouse and around the 23-min mark, Nas dives into the subject of a Jay Electronica collaboration to which responds as follows:
I wanted to get him to do the entire Untitled album, the N-word album. He had ideas. He was pulling records from J Dilla… He was pulling records and he was there with me while I was working on it. And he did the first record on there and it would’ve been so ahead of its time because he wasn’t signed and he wasn’t out there like that. So it would’ve been great right now to go back and say yo this dude produced my whole album years ago. That would’ve been cool and he’s ahead of his time like that.
