June 23 marked the 40th anniversary of Title IX, a change in US legislation that opened the door for female athletes to participate in all sports. To mark the occasion, Nike have detailed personal stories from marathon runner Joan Benoit Samuelson and boxer Marlen Esparza alongside WNBA stars Lisa Leslie and Diana Taurasi. The ‘Voices’ video appeared yesterday on ESPN on June 26, and can be followed on Twitter using the #maketherules hashtag.
