Everyone knows that you should treat toys with respect. Otherwise they come to life during the night, and rip your face off while you’re sleeping, right? Jason Freeny clearly didn’t get this memo. A former toy designer himself, Freeny didn’t think children would be his target market for his half-dead creations.
The Manhattan based artist buys 18 inch Lego toys, cuts them in half, and then creates their innards with painted foam. Documenting the process via his Facebook page, Freeny creates these interesting dissected figures from a range of toys.
