Anthony Hopkins has accepted a new role to play Alfred Hitchcock in an upcoming biopic about the director’s life. The film, which started filming earlier this month, is based on a book by Stephen Rebello called Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho. Other actors to star in the film include Helen Mirren as Alma – his wife, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh – the actress from Psycho, Jessica Biel as actress Vera Miles, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins – the Psycho himself, and Toni Collette as actress Peggy Robertson.
