The Hundreds has partnered with world-renowned photographer, Zach Cordner, to carefully curate and hand-select a collection of the artist’s original work to be highlighted in a pop-up gallery in Los Angeles for two upcoming weekends only. The exhibit, titled “Icons and Innovators,” will feature unique portraits of an eclectic group of some of the entertainment industry’s most infamous names, including but not limited to the likes of Daft Punk, Jay-Z, Gene Simmons, Chelsea Handler and Tony Hawk.
Shooting everything from pool skaters in rural Japan to some of the most notorious players in hip hop, Cordner is not only one of the most versatile modern photographers, but also a natural fit for a collaboration with The Hundreds because of both his Southern California roots and the urban theme that is consistently reflected in his work. Also available at the gallery will be three signature Zach Cordner x The Hundreds tees featuring his artwork, along with a collector’s book full of the portraits highlighted at the gallery as well as Cordner’s thoughts and inspiration behind each work of art.
The store, located at 7907 Rosewood Avenue in Los Angeles, CA, will be open August 27 – September 5, 2011.
