Located at 125 Rivington Street in the heart of New Yorkʼs Lower East Side, the store buildout employed a gut renovation to expose the original brick walls and wood flooring, showcasing the character of the original building architecture. Rather than hide the buildingʼs imperfections, the store highlights the raw essence and industrial beauty of the space through the use of concrete and a thin veneer of white paint to brighten the atmosphere.
Store display is provided through a combination of built furniture and found items, anchored by a set of custom military cases used throughout the shop, while a custom shelving and closet system holds inventory. Adorning the East facing wall is a floor to ceiling wallpaper and frames containing moody imagery of the last Vane for Sebago collection, Dark Forrest.
Celebrating a successful four year collaborative relationship, the Store will feature the limited-edition Vane for Sebagofootwear collections as well as a assortment of inline Sebago styles curated by Vane. The shop will also continually release exclusive store-only styles designed by Vane, and will also stock exclusive Vane apparel and jewelry. TheVane and Sebago merchandise will be complemented by a hand-selection of vintage Rolex watches and vintage designer frames from Carrera, Cazal, Christian Dior, Ultra and more.
The Store will be open from 12pm to 8pm Sunday through Wednesday, and 12pm to 10pm Thursday through Saturday to accommodate the unconventional schedule of the neighborhoodʼs countless creative residents.
