Red Wing released the third installment in their video series, which features the shoe repair department. This team of master cobblers is responsible for the upkeep of well-worn Red Wing Boots and shoes. When the company receives a beat up pair of Red Wings, the repair team goes to work, re-soling and stitching anything that’s come undone. The result is a product that fits as well as it did before the repairs, but can provide support for years to come. Cobbler Jake Illg, who narrates the video, explains Red Wing’s philosophy regarding their product. “We don’t just sell something and say, okay, that’s it. It’s yours now. We help [our customers] out in any way we can.”
