It’s Friday and what better to spend the day by checking out new music. SXSW will see a plethora of new faces on their stages this year and Empress Hotel is one of them. The New Orleans group premiered their video for “Mach Bach”, the second track of their self-titled debut album. The video’s concept began with a bevy of left over New Years Eve balloons. The band then proceeded to film a euphoric attack with 1,500 of them, glitter-filled and radiating from the floor to the ceiling of their entire practice space. Empress Hotel’s self-titled debut is set for a March 8th release. The band will be touring the East Coast in support of the EP, including several performances at SXSW.
