Commune de Paris presents their Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection. “Hear the roar coming from the street, spreading the news like wildfire, Commune de Paris 1871 has launched yet another attack. Uproar and smoke. The insurgents advance on two fronts : A collection of menswear, lively classic. Scattered red and blue republican symbols appear on noble fabric of sober colours. A cabinet of curios, packed with objects created by artists federated around the label, who reinvent the cockade, convert flags, coins and historical engravings, take over cannons, barricades, and furious roosters. Their hearts filled with new blood, the rebels of Commune de Paris 1871 take the lead regardless of defeatists.”
This seasons collection has men’s shirts, sweaters, cardigans, polo shirts, t-shirts. Sober lines and elegant cuts, refined style shaped up by modern art direction, made from their common materials such as merinos wool, Egyptian cotton, mother-of-pearl and boxwood buttons.
