Diane Von Furstenberg has collaborated with Whatever it Takes, a charity that has seen designers like Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan and celebrities like Kanye West and Nicole Kidman designing everything from iPod covers to handbags all in the spirit for a greater good.
The organization supports hundreds of other charitable causes with the help of celebrities and artists who lend their talents and their names so they can raise funds through product sales. Whatever it Takes is based in England and it’s already raised four million pounds.
In their online store, shop.whateverittakes.org, you can already see the handbag that was created by Diane von Furstenberg based on a vintage portrait of the designer. The bag is selling at just €20.
The store also offers backpacks featuring Kanye West and Vivienne Westwood sketches for only €30, Nicole Kidman bags, Donna Karan cups, Stella McCartney watches, Giorgio Armani zen designs and iPod covers created by the late Alexander McQueen.
