I’m not sure what the weather was where you live but yesterday in NYC, it rained so hard it forced people to stay indoors. What else does one do on a rainy Sunday, read and watch the news, check up the latest in the industry, send “Good Morning” texts to that special somebody. You might find some good music to listen to as you clean up and make your palace a clean and presentable haven. Dam-Funk’s “Never Tongue in Cheek” 7-minute smooth sliding-socks-across-the-floor funkadelic vibe turns out to be all that one needs to get by in the mellow morning. Describing the track on his Soundcloud, he wrote: “I’mma just keep ‘humbly’ Funkin’ U. No funny business….just Funkin’ U.”. It get no better than that.
