eyeDriver: Drive A Car With Your Eyes

“Researchers at Berlin’s Free University have created a device that enables drivers to drive without using their hands. As part of the Spirit of Berlin, an artificial intelligence group, Raul Rojas and his teammates have been testing methods to automate driving by using a remote control or, in this case, by eye sight alone.

In this video, a man is shown in a Dodge minivan wearing a hi-tech helmet as he navigates the car with his eyesight. This is possible by combining technologies including wi-fi, laser 3d detectors, GPS, infrared cameras, and a drive-by-wire system.”
