1800 Ultimate Pomegranate Ready-to-Drink Margarita

Just as we’re getting a bit of summer heat here and there, it’s time to start mentally planning all your BBQ’s and trips to the beach. It would be a lie if we said we don’t drink alcoholic beverages at these gatherings, so why be the person that brings the usual drinks? Try on your hands on this new drink from 1800 Tequila, the 1800 Ultimate Pomegranate Ready-to-Drink Margarita. Created with 100% Agave 1800 Silver Tequila and blended with the flavor of pomegranate and Persian lime extract. The 1800 Ultimate RTD Margarita is one of the fastest growing ready-to-drink brands on the market, and is one of the few 100% agave tequila-based RTD’s on the market. 1800® Silver Tequila is already present in the 19.9 proof mix, taking away the hassle of measuring and mixing, and making the ease of portability and clean up the perfect choice for partygoers this season.

“The original 1800 Ultimate Margarita Ready-to-Drink has been hugely popular with our consumers, and we are excited to expand the brand with the inclusion of the new pomegranate flavor,” said Elwyn Gladstone, VP of Marketing for Proximo. “Our collection of quality spirits is ever-growing, and we are pleased to offer our loyal customers this new flavor just in time for summer.” The 1800® Ultimate Pomegranate Ready-to-Drink Margarita will be available in 1.75 ml bottles for $19.99.

Where can I find this in southern California? I bought several bottles at Costco but now cannot find it and have already turned several of my friends on to it.

I bought my first bottle of 1800 Pom Marg this weekend in Mississippi (I live in Alabama). It is awesome to say the least! I doubt I will be able to find it here, but will be buying some on my next MS trip!

From what I read, this drink is great… however I purchased the 1.75L jug of fun from Costco and will be returning it (hopefully!). Due to reviews I am attributing the aroma and rank after-taste of dirty ashtray to a bad batch- which must have landed at our local Costco. I couldn’t tolerate more than a few sips. It took many ‘curiously strong mints’ and some major teeth-brushing to escape the intense cigarette-butt-like taste. Again, I’m hoping this is an isolated case…but beware just the same.

I live in Northern California and my local Costco (San Ramon) no longer carries it. I’ve also tried BevMo and they also do not carry it. Where can I purchase? I love it!

I bought a bottle at Costco in spring of 2011. Have looked for it since, it was a HUGE hit for our lake gathering last summer. Was told at Costco that it was a seasonal item. I will be looking for it this spring and stocking up accordingly!!!!
