COMUNE’s Spring / Summer 2010 men’s clothing collection is detailed yet simplistic and has the potential to evolve from a small line to a household name.  The multi-layered brand is and a year old line designed for the fashionable man who abhors trends.  The COMUNE collection attracts a free, confident, and unique man, who gives seizes to give a fuck about what any ones thinks.

The Spring / Summer 2010 collection, created by a group of like-minded artists are who make up The COMUNE, a sophisticated, refreshingly minimal, and finely tailored brand.  Creative Director Mike Q’s choice to focus on what he calls “well tailored work” defines COMUNE in a category all by itself.  “Work wear, by nature, is very functional and we will always be a brand that that is based on details and a pleasing aesthetics without feeling like something has been over designed.  We don’t want to sacrifice that functionality,” says Mike.

As denim is a COMUNE favorite, the collection includes a variety of washes, newly experimented combinations such as heavy tea stain, resin coated and waxed twill.  Staple items like their washed out and bleached flannels have an added twist this time around, dipped in various coatings and finished for a unique artistic edge.  Their flannel lined denim jacket is one of my favorites!

COMUNE is relatively new to the fashion scene and has attracted the likes of contemporary retailers and is currently sold at; Oak in NYC, Base in Miami, Villains in SF, American Rag, Ships in Japan and Revolve online.  Our more core distribution consists of accounts like Active Rideshop, Milo Sport, Jacks, NJ Skateshop and Karmaloop online.
