With the recent events that took place in Haiti many artists such as Alanis Morissette, Lupe Fiasco, Kenna, and Jay-Z took to the booth to pay their respects for the crumbling island. Joell Ortiz, one quarter of the super group Slaughter House did a little rendition of his own, but instead of expressing empathy blanketed in prose, he gave us a 200 year, 2 minute history lesson on the country’s socio-economical systems.
