It comes at no surprise that when you want to do fashion, you go to New York. That’s exactly what J. Daniel Elquist did. Born in Elko, Nevada and raised on the outskirts of Seattle, Elquist attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a focus in fashion design, then relocated to New York, NY.
Mr. Elquist’s style is something he describes as the “Modern American Gentleman,” the ability to wear a suit and tie or jeans and a t-shirt but be your own man while doing so. I had the pleasure of getting to talk to him previously, and he states in his blog that “2010 is the year of the iron.” After just having lunch with the deputy editor of GQ magazine, I would very much agree with him. Blessings to you and yours in the new year!
