The latest addition to Gucci’s new Eyeweb collection are ski goggles. The unisex masks, offered in either black and white, feature a distinctive green-red-green Gucci stretch head band and are the new must-have accessory for the Winter 2009-2010 season.
Produced by Safilo, the masks incorporate full technical requirements for snow and sun. The anti-fog lenses feature a new “Seal Ring” technology that maintains the symmetry of the double lenses to ensure an effective thermal barrier and to prevent distortion of the visual field. The goggles offer total protection from UV radiation and are equipped with a soft inner lining for maximum comfort. The packaging, which includes a soft pouch and sleek black box, also features Gucci’s distinctive web striping.
The new ski goggles retail for $195 USD and will be available in early December 2009 at Gucci stores world wide, selected optical retailers, and at Gucci.com.
