Genuine Hobo

genuine-hobo-main

If you go into any of your Black friends homes and see a chunk of yellow puddy in a jar, fix your face and introduce yourself to shea butter. For those of you unfamiliar with Shea butter and its miracles, it’s time that we put you on. Originated out of West Africa and Sahara Desert, shea butter comes from shea trees which takes up to 20-30 years to fully bear.

Shea butter extract is known for its skin softening, skin toning and hair rejuvenation effect. With regular use Shea Butter evens skin tone and returns skin to a natural glow by penetrating deep into the skin to rehydrate and promote cell growth.

Founder Raymond Williams, President Ayana Cahrr and SVP Clarence Griffin took this natural resource of our Motherland and created Genuine HoBo. Genuine Hobo offers affordable hi-end all-natural health & beauty products made from all-natural ingredients. Their product line is an array of spa quality products, including sea salt body scrubs, shea butter moisturizing creams, and more.

I first met these two gents at a Eco-Luxe gathering earlier in the Fall, and was impressed to see their presence. They’re a Black owned business that delivers a product that our heritage has used for centuries and opening the world to its magical effects.

Genuine HoBo’s Shea Bodi-Butter comes in 12 formulas (scents) that contain unrefined shea butter certified organic and Fair Trade – Bolga Shea nut butter from Bolgatanga Region, Ghana. Our staff picks are the Peppe Shea (Peppermint), Genuine Lavender Shea (Lavender), Sweet Shea (Mango) and Divine Shea (Patchouli, Lavender, Vanilla, Cranberry & Fig, Bonsai, White Magnolia, Grapefruit & Lily, Jasmine, Mango & Apricot). The shea butter is blended with pure hemp and essential oils using Genuine HoBo’s patented completely additive-free cold process and then packaged to retain inherent healing and moisturizing properties. Bodi-Butter does not include synthetic ingredients, and is made pure, ultra-luxurious, emollient rich and is minimally processed.

In effort of sharing the goodness of Africa with the rest of the planet, HoBo Men and Women International, LLC gives 10 percent of sales on each Genuine HoBo Shea Butter jar through the United Nations to the women of Africa, which go towards the building of health centers and child care centers.

Head on over to their website and at Whole Foods Market in the Southern California area to get your HoBo.
