Ronnie Wood for Liberty of London

While Ronnie Wood’s paintings may not have garnered quite the international attention he achieved with the Rolling Stones, his abstract, vibrant art works did catch the eye of Liberty’s creative director, Tamara Salman. In fact that Wood has given a selection of specially commissioned work over to the department store to be transformed into a series of grafitti T-shirts, paint-shod hold alls and floral-clad, racer-back dresses designed by Salman herself for Liberty of London.

Going for a modish look, not entirely out of place with the Stone’s own aesthetic, Salman even got Wood out in front of the camera for the high-gloss ad campaign.

Wood and Salman’s collaborative range will be available exclusively from Liberty’s central London department store from the end of September, after which Wood will be organizing an exhibition of his own work in New York to coincide with the launch - which will then swiftly move to LA for the first week of November.
