Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010

Need we say it? Marc Jacobs, you’ve done it yet again…!

Fashion Week in NYC wouldn’t be complete without the eye-catching flare of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 line. This time, bold African-inspired prints, vivid graphics, and an outstandingly vibrant color scheme mixed flawlessly with oversized hair bows, belted skirts and dresses, tailored jackets, sporty jumpsuits and sleek pinstripes. There was no shortage of Jacob’s vintage inspirations – it was 1940s meets the 1980s in the ultimate fusion of delicate feminine frills and mixed-and-matched fabrics and prints. As my friend appropriately summed it up, “It reminded me of little girls playing dress up – and embodied every reason why you have ever loved Marc Jacobs.”  And so, here we are, easing into fall, and I am already excited for next spring.

Needless to say, our favorite fashion superstar never ceases to amaze – and this time he really wowed us. And to that we say, yet again, Marc Jacobs, we not only love you, we adore you.

comparatively amazing – his spring collections of past were not nearly as alive, eye-catching and memorable as this one! to each his own ;)
