J. Cole has been on our radar sometime now and we’re very impressed with what this young lad has been doing in the music industry; from being the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, featured on one of the best songs on BP3, and making quite a buzz for himself with his mixtape The Come Up that released earlier this year. Hov recruited J. Cole to join him on his highly anticipated North American College Tour starting October 9 at Penn State. Cole will share opening duties with Wale and N.E.R.D., joining Jay through all 24 dates of the tour. Powered by Live Nation, the tour, being billed as “the college event of the year,” will make stops at a mix of college campus arenas and traditional venues across the U.S. and Canada. So far, dates have been confirmed in Texas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Maryland, Ontario and Alberta, with additional cities and dates to be announced later.
