Formerly known as The Muggabears, Brooklyn trio Grooms will be the first band to release a proper LP on Death By Audio Records, the label attached to the DIY space and pedal manufacturers of the same name. Rejoicer, their debut, drops on October 13; its lead track “Dreamsucker” is already making a name for the group. It sounds like Sonic Youth in a way those guys haven’t sounded in awhile–like they’re having an incredible amount of fun.
