Our good friend Matt Waldman and his brand Nooka is proud to announce its very own pop-up shop at Den in New York for this Summer 2009. From July 10th through August 16th, Nooka will feature its entire line of products for sale in the shop, including the full collection of watches as well as its newest line of lifestyle accessories, the Asset Organizer (AO) and the Nooka Strip. Both the AO (a re-conceptualization of the wallet) and the Strip (a streamlined belt design) will be launched for the Fall season, and Den will be the first shop in which these new products will be available for sale.
Nooka Inc. is embarking on a new space with a more intimate way to wear Nooka everyday. Linking refined simplicity and evolved sensuality, in mid-July 2009, “The Future Distilled” is captured as an eau de parfum in a custom gem bottle. Nooka will kickoff the launch with “Time. Scent. Space.”, a 350 sq ft concept space at Den in the East Village of New York City, where Nooka enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience the fragrance for the first time, as well as view various new lifestyle accessories, collectible objects, and the complete range of timepieces, including limited edition colors. Nooka eau de parfum communicates a universal language that transcends opposites. A synergy of scents, both familiar and foreign, instinctive and original, mental and physical, that come together as one. Japanese Yuzu sprinkled with pink pepper. Polished steel wrapped in vintage leather. This fusion of natural essences and synthetic accords creates the next generation of precious liquids, expressing each wearer’s multi-faceted individuality.
As part of Nooka’s delve into fashion accessory design, they are launching a fun and innovative line of belts, the Nooka Strip, to match the Asset Organizer (AO) collection of wallets and complement the Zub watch collection. The Nooka Strip combines a unique ratchet-like closure system with BASF’s new Ellastolan® thermoplastic polyurethane material – a highly durable yet soft and flexible polyurethane. Available in a variety of colors and shapes, they embody the Nooka ethos of nooismo in the reinvention of an everyday item to create something that improves functionality and adds style and personal expression. Two Nooka Strip sizes will fit most waists – available in black, blue, gray, orange, and green.
