Although the group’s music hasn’t hit American shores yet, Limité Magazine sees a pretty bright future for the already bright-haired lead singer of UK’s new electropop synth band La Roux (French for Red-haired). Already with three popular singles in Europe “Quicksand,” “In For the Kill,” and “Bulletproof,” La Roux seems to be turning countless heads with her incredibly soothing voice on top of electrosynth beats and to be keeping those heads watching with her fresh combed over fiery red hairdo.
Scheduled to be released in the US in the next two months, alternative music fans out there should be ready for the coming of another UK songstress much unlike those we’ve seen before (Amy Winehouse, Adele…). Even though her music is usually that of European discos and fleeting pop fans, we see a bright future for La Roux with the inevitable yet hopeful flock of American style groups to collaborate with the young Brit.
