After making it’s way into the hearts of young girls and women over the last 35yrs, Hello Kitty continues to amuse its extensive fan base since it debuted in 1974 on a coin purse. In celebration of is 35th anniversary will be announcing partnerships with Dell Computers, Swarovski, Flik Flak ( a division of Swatch watches).
Hello Kitty was appointed the Goodwill Tourism Ambassador to China & Hong Kong in honor of Hello Kitty’s 35th, the UK Royal Mint has released a series of coins featuring her at various attractions.
During the months of October through December, Hello Kitty will be apart of ‘Three Apples‘, a bi-coastal art exhibit event with interpretations from famed contemporary artist Ron English and Buff Monster on their vision of Hello Kitty. The exhibition will take place in Los Angeles at Royal/T in Culver City, the New York exhibit will be located at a chic, downtown gallery.
