Brooklyn continues to become the mecca of all things cool in New York; as the summer finally comes around and shares it bright smile so does Brooklyn Bowl. Introduced to the public last night, the renovation of a former iron foundry in Williamsburg holds it’s massive frame of 23,000 sq. ft., and showing that it cares for the earth by ONLY serving beer on tap (no bottles or cans). The rest of the interior boast a state of the art audio and video system, 35-ft wide stage for performances, and a food menu by Blue Ribbon.
Let us not forget about the bowling. 16 new lanes will be anchored by hi-def screens and lounge-worthy Chesterfield couches to relax in. While you’ve got your sights on your lane, keep your ears peeled – the venue is staged as much for music as it is for pins. Veteran producers from The Knitting Factory and The Wetlands have fine-tuned the acoustics to a perfect 300. More images after the jump
