Raekwon – “Wu-Ooh (The New Wu)”

If there ever was a song to save Hip Hop, this is truly it! It’s been a long time since I got hooked into a song and played it repeatedly until now; Raekwon of the world famous and elite Wu-Tang Clan delivers a banger and I mean banger in every sense of the word. New Wu (alternative title is Wu Ooh) is featured on the new Only Built for Cuban Links Part 2 scheduled to drop on August 11th 2009 and what I love so much about this track is that it takes Hip Hop back to the true New York 90′s Hip Hop, the blue hoodie with a Yankee fitted and Timberland’s Hip Hop. The track features the finest of the Clan, The Chef, Meth and Ghostface revisiting the Wu we love from the 36 Chambers and Forever, the single also has a short film that features other Clan members, RZA, Inspectah Deck and Cappadona, with a infectious beat which is definitely guaranteed to be a hit in New York and to true Hip Hop followers globally. TRUST ME!
