Dita is an amazing smart lady! She has inspired me, and that’s not easy, I am sure that she is aware of the impact she has on society, but prefers to allow others to develop opinions about her and what she represents for themselves without being forceful about any kind of agenda. She knows how to keep sexuality very much alive without killing ot with endless conversations about womens brains and how that’s the most important part of a woman. Women are made up of of the physical, mental and spiritual evenly just like men are, and each and every part of a person is equally important!

I love dita! she is in my opinion the most sophisticated, stylish people ailve today. We should all aspire to be more like her, by being ourselves and stop trying to aspire to the media whore starlets! I love that she did the exact opposite of themm, dress up! not less. Pale! not tan. Sophisticated! not trashy. This girl really is something! Definitely an inspiration.

I’m a mom of two daughters. Do I want my 20 month old and my 4 year old to look at Ms. Teese and say to herself, “aggle flaggle klabble!” Or, “Gee I’d sure like to be like her.” Of course not. But Ms. Teese is neither 20 months nor 4 years old. She is a gorgeous, grown woman. She is independent, intelligent, and drop dead sexy. In her shoes (and damn I love her shoes), I would probably while away my youth doing something similar. She’s amazing. She’s a grown up. She can do as she pleases, and thank God for that. Thank God she has such freedom. Shame on anyone who would curtail that freedom that so many have died to protect. If you don’t like her, look away. And of course, this is not material suitable for children. Neither is what my husband and I do behind closed doors. Hence, the door is CLOSED. Sheesh. Go Dita!

Also, Morgan, just as it isn’t right that women should expect men to give up all the jobs and stay in the kitchen in the name of equality, it is also INCREDIBLY wrong that women should have such a market to SELL their bodies over men. how come men don’t have so many opportunities/expectations placed on them in the same market? food for thought.

the rest of you need to set better expectations of yourselves and of others (if you think about it, you really aren’t praising dita through your statements of how beautiful she is but actually insulting her by failing to acknowledge that she could, perhaps, maybe, (actually?), be an intellectual being with a BRAIN. you’re doing it by judging something that she just so happened to have by chance/luck – her looks, -and neglecting/overlooking her accomplishments – by that i mean anything she may have achieved with her brain).

the book that she wrote on the other hand, that may be something to awe over.

so, for all of you who brainlessly commented on what an achievement she’s made just being beautiful, i am taking the liberty to be insulted on Ms. Dita’s behalf.
