Sebago, leading manufacturer of authentic classic, casual and marine footwear, has announced that it will join with VANE New York to open a temporary “pop-up shop” at 125 Rivington Street in New York City. The store will celebrate the launch of the unique collaboration between the footwear company and the New York-based design and fashion collective. The store will feature the new VANE for Sebago limited edition collection of shoes, as well as the VANE private label jewelry collection, additional Sebago footwear styles, and select Sebago apparel pieces. The shop will be open March 27th through April 20th.
“We are excited to bring Sebago to Manhattan’s lower east side, where the nautical and boat shoe trends are going strong,” said Mike Walls, director of sales/US market, at Sebago. “The VANE for Sebago collection is a truly unique and fresh take on our classic styles, and we are excited to have this presence in New York. It is a unique opportunity to introduce our classics to an entirely new consumer and we are already finding that there is a great enthusiasm for them.”
The front gate of the store will feature a custom mural by the New York graffiti duo Surf and Mint, collectively known as Mirf. They will also create a limited edition tee shirt available exclusively in the store.
