The BKc Black Out of 2007 was a massive widespread shopping experience, where the entire store was transformed into a black box with nothing but black product available for a limited time. Crowds gathered outside The Brooklyn Circus on 258 Bergen everyday to be a part of The BKc retail history. This year will be no different (actually it will be different) in the variety of product we will be offering for The BKc Black Out of 2008. Joining us this year for Black Out, The Brooklyn Circus Classics, Vael Footwear, Public School, Nooka, Goorin Bros, Property Of and more to be added.
The Brooklyn Circus angle was to take something that had a negative connotation to it and make it into a positive situation. The way they turned Bergen & Nevins into a shopping destination and touched the world with the little store at 258. BKc hope’s to inspire all of their shoppers, readers, supporters and BKc approved to always dream. To always see the positive in every situation and to know that all big things must start small. Yep! The BKc Black Out of 2008 is coming to The Brooklyn Circus near you . . .
