Starting Sept. 23, two of underground hip hop’s hottest up and coming emcees will be tearing up North America from coast to coast with their Hollywood Moon Tour. Kid Cudi (from Cleveland, and now Brooklyn) has been named one of the top five indie hip hop artists of 2008 by Rolling Stone. You’ve probably heard his hit “Day ‘N’ Night” in the clubs, or maybe you caught him slaying audiences alongside Diplo and A-Trak at NY’s Summer Stage Concert series.Â
Chicago’s Hollywood Holt has done in five years what few emcees accomplish in ten, going from playing local gigs to Lollapalooza, and even catching Kanye West’s attention. Check out his debut video, “Hollywood” here.
Kid Cudi and Hollywood Holt will wrap up Hollywood Moon in under a week, with a final show in San Francisco on October 1st. Additionally, the two will be joined by Plain Pat and Million $ Mano for the tour.
