Turin-based institute IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) took part in a competition to create a BMW of 2015. 35 IED students were involved in the project. The students were divided into 18 teams, leaving one a loner and the designs created by all teams were evaluated with the selection of 12, 8 of which were developed in 1:4 models. In collaboration with Cecomp, the remaining 4 turned into virtual models. Looks like MIT needs to play catch-up!
